Drunken American Tourists Found Sleeping Atop Eiffel Tower,

Eiffel-Tower

Two drunk American tourists were found sleeping on the Eiffel Tower in Paris. They had managed to get past security the previous night and were discovered by guards in the morning before the tower opened at 9:00 am.

These tourists had bought tickets to go up the tower at around 10:40 pm on Sunday. But instead of following the rules, they jumped over security barriers while making their way down from the top. The company that operates the Eiffel Tower, called Sete, said that the tourists probably got stuck because they were so drunk. A team of firefighters, including specialists skilled in rescuing individuals from dangerous heights, was dispatched to safely retrieve the trespassers.

Both men were taken to a police station in Paris for questioning. Because of what happened, the Eiffel Tower couldn’t open to visitors on time.
