Lokesh Gets Anticipatory Bail

Lokesh, the TDP National General Secretary, has been implicated in the AP Fiber Scam and Skill Development Scam cases. He filed a petition in the High Court seeking anticipatory bail for both cases. The High Court granted him anticipatory bail in the Skill Development Scam case, ensuring he wouldn’t be arrested until October 4. The petition related to the fiber grid case was adjourned to the same date.

In addition to these cases, Lokesh received a notice from CID officials under Section 41A of the CrPC in the Amaravati Inner Ring Road Alignment case, indicating that his arrest in that case is unlikely. The High Court also adjourned the hearing for Lokesh’s anticipatory bail plea in the fiber grid case to October 4.

Meanwhile, the High Court is currently hearing Chandrababu’s anticipatory bail petition in the Inner Ring Road case. Advocate General Sriram Subrahmanyam is representing the AP CID, while Supreme Court advocate Siddhartha Luthra is representing Chandrababu. Former minister Ponguru Narayana, whose name is also included in the Inner Ring Road case, expressed the belief that the case is baseless and hopes for a fair outcome. He mentioned losing land due to the inner ring road alignment in 2001, emphasizing the alleged unjust filing of cases against him.
