The Congress party in Telangana seems to be embracing this strategy in an unconventional manner to take on the ruling BRS party in the upcoming elections. Their plan involves deploying approximately 119 cars across the state, all of which will be painted in a distinctive pink color to resemble the BRS party’s symbol.
However, the Congress has a twist in mind – they intend to emblazon these pink cars with the slogan “Bye Bye KCR.” Moreover, these vehicles will feature key criticisms, including alleged corruption in projects like Kaleswaram, the failure of schemes for Dalits and BCs, paper leaks in the TSPSC exams, Kavitha’s purported involvement in a Delhi liquor scam, fraudulent schemes, and unfulfilled promises related to farmer loan waivers.
To amplify their message, these campaign cars will also be equipped with propaganda cassettes playing anti-KCR slogans. The plan is for these cars to tour the constituencies they’re assigned to daily, effectively creating the illusion of a BRS-branded fleet. The Congress hopes that this creative approach will capture the attention of the public and drive their anti-KCR message home.
However, the strategy may face its share of challenges. There are concerns about whether law enforcement agencies will scrutinize an anti-KCR campaign running on these cars.
