What Now, BJP Wants AP CM Seat!

After Chandrababu’s meeting with Amit Shah, the discussion about the TDP-Janasena-BJP alliance has reinvigorated. Therefore, the news about the seat sharing and the subsequent power sharing between the allies is being followed closely by everyone.

Grabbing everyone’s attention, AP BJP spokesman Vishnuvardhan Reddy has claimed that BJP wants a double-engine government in Andhra Pradesh.

“We want a double-engine government in Andhra Pradesh. We are not ready to carry anyone on our shoulders and make someone else the CM. The demand is very specific, we want a BJP candidate to be the CM of AP. Things have changed since 2019, and 2014. If anyone has any doubts about BJP’s strength, he/she must see who is waiting for whose appointment in Delhi.” Vishnu Vardhan Reddy.

Apart from that, BJP has its sight on securing 20 MLA and MP tickets in total in the alliance.

The supporters of the alliance are also unable to comprehend this statement from Vishnu Vardhan Reddy as BJP got 0.98% vote share in 2019 which is lesser than NOTA’s 1.5%. If so, then is it reasonable for the BJP to ask for the CM seat in the 2024 alliance? Will the alliance go into the public effectively with BJP candidate as the CM candidate? These questions will be answered in the next 4 weeks.
