After BJP announced 9 of its Telangana Lok Sabha candidates for the coming election, there are multiple observations on the merits and demerits of these individuals. One such interesting observation spots an uncanny coincidence between Revanth Reddy and Eatala Rajender.
In the case of Revanth Reddy, he lost the assembly elections from Kodangal in 2018 and later contested from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency. Revanth won from Malkajgiri in 2019 and started his journey toward the CM chair before eventually leading Congress to a win in the 2023 assembly elections.
In the case of Eatala Rajender, he also lost from Huzurabad and Gazwel in the 2023 assembly elections. He has now been announced as BJP MP candidate from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency.
The similarity between Revanth and Eatala is that both lost in the assembly elections and moved to Lok Sabha elections from the same constituency(Malkajgiri) a year later. Revanth won the Lok Sabha election and eventually went on to become the CM, and Eatala is testing his luck from the same Malkajgiri this year.
If Eatala does end up winning from Malkajgiri, then it would lead to theories that Revanth’s historic voyage is happening in the case of Eatala also, particularly because Eatala is one of the established CM candidates in BJP. But this is just a coincidence for the time being and what worked for Revanth might not necessarily work for Eatala Rajender. The uncanny resemblance, however catches the attention here.
