Viveka’s wife suspects Jagan’s role

Former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s wife Soubhagyamma urged the electorate not to vote for YCP president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. She said that she was agreeing with her daughter Sunitha’s request to the people in this aspect. There is complete anarchy in the state, she lamented.

She said that they suspect that Jagan was backing her husband’s murderers. “There is suspicion that Jagan and his wife had knowledge of Viveka’s murder even before the public.”

Why did not Jagan come to Pulivendula till evening when the news broke out early in the morning, Soubhagyamma asked.

Further, she also said that one of the accused in the murder cases and one of their family members Y.S. Avinash Reddy was roaming free in the public only because Jagan is in power. “When we approached him seeking justice after the murder after Jagan became the CM, he did not talk in private but with some others seated beside him. He even pointed fingers at my daughter and son-in-law, she said.

“We understood that our enemies were right in our house very late. It has been five years since Viveka was murdered but justice was not done to our family till now,” she said.

Soubhagyamma said that she has several doubts over her husband’s murder and wondered how could Jagan have prior knowledge about the killing. Soon after the news of the murder broke out, we all rushed to Pulivendula from Hyderabad. Why is it that Jagan did not reach Pulivendula till evening? Such behaviour is leading to several doubts, she explained.

She said that her husband was killed for political reasons and also lamented that while her daughter Sunitha is trying to get the guilty punished, Jagan, instead of helping her was putting her to more trouble.

Soubhagyamma said that she was pained to witness Sunitha fighting solely for justice. Viveka wanted to see Jagan as CM and he was very close to his brother and former CM late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy too, she said.

“Our family bonding was very tight till Rajasekhara Reddy was alive. Conspiracies were hatched only after his death,” she revealed.

She hoped that Andhra Pradesh should get an able leader who can take decisions and act as per the Constitution.
