The Andhra Pradesh High Court has reserved its verdict on the ‘Three Capitals’ row. From October 6th, the High Court has been hearing all the petitions filed against the ‘Three Capitals’ and on Monday, all the petitions hearing got concluded. Reserving its verdict, the court has postponed the further proceedings in this case to November 2nd.
During the process, the High Court has posed few questions about the CM’s guest houses being constructed in Vizag, Tirupati and Kakinada cities. “We have no objections to the government constructing the guest houses or temporary camp offices. But are these constructions being done at sensitive and remote places, is what our doubt. Also the government did not mention any details about the Vizag guest house like its build-up area, rooms. Why is it so?” questioned the High Court.
To this the advocate on behalf of AP government informed the court that every time when CM is visiting a place, the government is paying huge amounts for accommodation. To avoid this unnecessary expenditure, the government has planned for these guest houses.
In reply the High Court suggested the government to abide by the population of the region for the construction and added if needed, they would take up this case in the weekends as well.
