Left YCP And Joined BJP In 1 Hour!

The YSR Congress ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh is witnessing detrimental effects after the 2024 election with the continuous exodus of senior leaders. While the party has been losing former public representatives on a consistent basis, it has now started to lose the foot soldiers as well.

Incidentally, the official National spokesperson of YSR Congress, Karumuri Ravichandra Reddy who has been a very vocal leader for the party over the years has left Jagan’s side now.

Ravichandra Reddy has submitted his letter of resignation, designated to the president of YCP, Jagan Mohan Reddy. Interestingly enough, he quickly joined AP BJP in the presence of Daggubati Purandeshwari.

Just an hour after announcing his resignation from YCP, Reddy joined BJP in the presence of Purandeshwari. This could be an indication that he was planning his exit from YCP for a while now and executed the same today.

Reddy was a very fierce supporter of Jagan over the years and stood as one of the proactive spokesmen of the party in domestic media and also national media. His loss comes at the worst possible time for YCP as the party is already facing shortage of vocal leaders.

Earlier, there were reports that Ravichandra Reddy opposed the dominance on lower cadre leadership in YCP and this eventually led to him getting out of the party. He was originally supposed to leave the party a few months earlier itself but held back, before finally getting out today.
