Jagan Reddy Is Back, But Program Cancelled

After having spent a couple of weeks in London, followed by a few days in the lavish Bengaluru Palace, Pulivendula MLA Jagan is bank in Andhra Pradesh, on what appears to be another brief trip to the state.

Jaganmohan Reddy arrived at the Gannavaram Airport a few hours back, and he was greeted grandly by his party supporters and representatives. After the grand welcome, Jagan left to his Tadepalli house, where he briefly met with his party leaders.

However, Jagan’s return to Andhra Pradesh comes with no real substance as the recently planned “Fees Poru” protest regarding the fees reimbursement process got postponed to a later point.

YCP supporters expected that they would at least get the chance to see Jagan fighting for the public through this protest and related arrangements were made. But sadly, for them, they will have to wait longer as this protest has been postponed to February 12 due to the existing election code regarding the coming MLC election.

It has been eight months since the election, and Jagan barely stepped out for the people of Andhra Pradesh. He is skipping the Assembly sessions every single time, and also not holding any sort of protest events across the state. The opposition is nearly non-functional in Andhra Pradesh, and this will take away whatever vacuum factor against the NDA government, which will ultimately take a toll on Jagan’s party.

Prior to the 2019 election, Jagan had the fire in him to become the CM and he fiercely fought the incumbent TDP government back then. Cut to now, political analysts opine that this fire is missing in Jagan now and he has turned a lot more complacent these days.
