CM Praises Deputy CM Pawan Before Collectors

CM Chandrababu Naidu’s remarks about Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan at the Collectors Conference in the AP Secretariat on Wednesday have sparked interest across political circles.

Speaking before the district collectors, Chandrababu said Pawan Kalyan entered public administration from a completely different field and is still adapting to the system. Despite that, he observed, the Deputy CM has been discharging his responsibilities with seriousness and dedication. The Chief Minister noted that even without prior experience in governance, Pawan has been showing clear intent in addressing people’s issues.

Chandrababu pointed out that since the formation of the government, Pawan Kalyan has been following a proactive style of functioning. He particularly referred to the Deputy CM’s quick decisions related to rural road development, calling them examples of responsive administration.

Recalling a recent incident, the Chief Minister said that during a felicitation programme for blind cricket tournament winners, a woman player from Anantapur requested a road for her village. Pawan Kalyan, he said, responded immediately by approving the required funds.

Another instance was shared during the meeting with collectors. While appointment letters were being distributed to constable candidates, a tribal youth from Alluri district raised a similar request for road connectivity. Chandrababu said that once the matter was brought to Pawan Kalyan’s notice, funds worth Rs 3.5 crore were sanctioned even before the programme concluded.

The Chief Minister remarked that such actions reflect the approach of a responsible government. He added that the objective of the administration is to ensure that authority is used carefully and only in the interest of public welfare.
