AP TDP MLA Gives It Back To KCR!

After nearly two years away at his farmhouse, KCR reappeared in Hyderabad, and his first press meet was aimed at Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. KCR’s recent remarks sparked an unusually strong reaction from the TDP camp. AP TDP MLA MS Raju launched a sharp counter, marking a clear shift from the party’s usual approach of ignoring KCR’s criticism.

Traditionally, whenever KCR targeted Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP leadership chose not to respond aggressively. Even after coming to power in Andhra Pradesh in 2024, the party continued to maintain restraint. During this period, KCR’s son KTR also softened his tone and was seen maintaining cordial ties with Nara Lokesh and a more balanced approach towards Chandrababu.

However, KCR’s latest comments crossed a line, according to TDP leaders. Many believe KCR is attempting to revive his political relevance and strengthen Telangana sentiment by targeting Naidu and Andhra Pradesh.

This time, the TDP chose not to remain silent. MLA MS Raju reacted strongly, questioning KCR’s mindset and highlighting his long absence from public life. He alleged that KCR had remained confined to his farmhouse for nearly two years and had now resurfaced out of political frustration. He also sarcastically questioned whether KCR was drunk when he came out of the farmhouse to address the press.

Raju also targeted KTR, calling him ineffective and suggesting that even KCR no longer has full confidence in his son’s leadership. According to Raju, KCR’s direct intervention itself reflects the internal weakness within the BRS.

The sharp exchange has further intensified political tensions between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana leaders. While some view KCR’s remarks as a political tactic, the strong backlash suggests that attacks on Chandrababu Naidu and Andhra Pradesh are no longer being taken lightly by the TDP.
