Thanks To DCM Kalyan, Red Sanders Kingpin Nabbed!

It is already known that the deputy chief minister and also the forest department minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan had been going particularly hard against the sandalwood smuggling operations.

His constant efforts have started to reap the rewards now as it is being established that a major red sanders kingpin has been arrested in Chittoor today.

According to the latest developments, the Andhra Pradesh authorities have arrested international red sandalwood smuggler Mohammed Mujamil.

This kingpin used to illegally transport red sandalwood logs to China by the usage of fake licenses. He was involved in transporting them from Seshachalam via Bengaluru and with multiple cases pending against Mujamil, sentences have been finalized in 87 percent of those cases.

In this context, following orders from Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Forests and Environment Pawan Kalyan, the Task Force team has launched the hunt for kingpins. As part of this hunt, on Saturday morning, a team led by Additional SP Kulasekhar arrested Mujamil on the Chittoor-Nayudupeta national highway.

This can be considered a key step in achieving Pawan Kalyan’s goal of giving utmost priority to preventing illegal red sandalwood transport. On this occasion, Kalyan congratulated Task Force Head SP Subbarayudu, Additional SP Kulasekhar, and other personnel who participated and cooperated in this operation.
