The Tirumala Laddu issue is coming back to haunt YSR Congress ecosystem as the CBI SIT report has established that several chemicals were used in the preparation of the Laddu.
In this context, YCP has been resorting to diversion politics by saying that “there’s no animal fat in the laddu as claimed by CM Babu and Pawan Kalyan”. They have been conveniently, ignoring the fact that the laddu samples contained traces of harmful chemical.
Incidentally, this was acknowledged by the former chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam board YV Subba Reddy, who also happens to be a very close relative of YS Jagan.
Former TTD chairman, Subba Reddy publicly stated “Yes, I agree that the SIT report said there are chemicals and other substances in the Laddu samples. It is mentioned that the Laddu ghee was adulterated. There were traces of palm oil and kennel oil. But this was done by other officers and third-party individuals.”
The fact that the former TTD chairman himself is acknowledging the presence of chemicals and substances in the ghee is showing the recklessness of the previous board.
They did not check the quality of the ghee or report during YCP tenure and now, only after the investigation report is out, they’re acknowledging the adulterated ghee, remarked a seasoned political expert.
