Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is preparing for the most important election battle in Tamil Nadu as his TVK party is preparing for its first ever election as the state assembly elections fast approaches.
But in the meanwhile, there have been countless speculations and theories about Thalapathy Vijay joining a potential alliance with the NDA in Tamil Nadu.
There have been countless media speculations about AIDMK and BJP, which are already in NDA alliance in Tamil Nadu possibly welcoming Vijay into their alliance. It is even speculate that Vijay is being promised that deputy chief minister position and his party will be given 80 Assembly seats.
But political analyst are very redundant of this speculation as they’re pointing out that AIDMK and BJP would not be interested in offering 80 seats to TVK, which is contesting in the first election. Giving more than 2/3rds of the total MLA tickets to a first time contesting party doesn’t look likely.
As for the deputy chief minister position, this could be largely negotiated between the members of the alliance and that’s for discussion at a later point.
But as of now, there is a lot of talk happening about the potential alliance in the media circles and social media space, but there appears to be very little activity on the ground level. In meanwhile, Vijay is preparing to attend before the CBI for investigation in the Karur stampede case.
It must also be noted that the election commission is likely to announce the election schedule for Tamil Nadu along with other Indian states this evening. Once the election schedule is announced with Tamil Nadu will be entering the electoral battle more and that’s for sure.
