A tragic incident has hit the family of late BRS leader Jubliee Hills Ex-MLA Maganti Gopinath. His daughters met with a car accident last night while returning from the airport. Their vehicle reportedly crashed into a DCM truck near the Narsingi Police Academy area.
In the accident, his elder daughter Akshara reportedly suffered serious injuries and is said to be in critical condition. His younger daughter Dishara and another person in the car received minor injuries.
All of them are currently undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital. Initial reports suggest that over speed may have caused the accident. There are also claims that a wheel of the car came off suddenly, leading to the crash.
The accident happened while they were returning to Gachibowli after dropping their friends at Shamshabad Airport. Police are investigating the case, and more details are expected to be released soon.
