It has been barely a couple of years since YSR Congress was removed from power in Andhra Pradesh and got relegated from 151 Assembly seats to just 11. But Jagan is still sticking to the same template when it comes to reprimanding CM Chandrababu Naidu.
Incidentally, Jagan took part in a public protest at Juvvaladinne in Nellore and he followed the same old pattern while calling out Chandrababu.
“if we close our eyes, the next three years will be gone just like that. And then, Jagan will become the chief minister again. I will take care of the harbour management and remove the private entities here. None of these private entities will be allowed in the harbour area once Jagan 2.0 starts.” Jagan said.
Jagan further went beyond the line while responding, stating that fishing harbours belong to fishermen and not to any individual or political leadership, adding that “even chandrababu’s grandfather cannot stop this.”
The remark has drawn attention for its strong tone, with observers noting that such comments are not expected from a former Chief Minister. While political criticism within limits is considered normal, analysts feel that this kind of aggressive language may ultimately harm Jagan’s own political image, a political observer said.
Jagan confidently remark that the YSR Congress government will return to power in another three years and there will be pretty strong reactions to the ongoing conflict.
Many people are commenting on social media that it has become extremely repetitive and monotonous for Jagan to repeatedly say he would become the CM again. In reality, Jagan had not stepped out of the Bengaluru comfort and held one major protest against the government now.
With very little effort to get back on track, including lack of coordination with YCP working groups or with the public, these tall comments about return to power aren’t feasible to Jagan either, a social media user commented.
