Congress Counters KTR With Ashu Reddy & Rakul Preet

Telangana politics can often get extremely demeaning at a personal capacity and a similar scenario has started to unfold in involving Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and former IT minister KTR.

The other day, KTR was referring to this one particular incident where Revanth Reddy attended a public program and the anchor ended up referring his compatriot Sreedhar Babu as the CM.

KTR tried to convey that even anchors and majority of public are unable to recognise Revanth Reddy as the chief minister. He used this as a verbal retort on Revanth Reddy.

However, this invited a strong reaction from Congress Bhongir MP Kiran Kumar and he had a provocative set of words.

Yes, KTR… Anchors like Ashu Reddy, actresses like Rakul Preet can’t recognize Revanth Reddy the way they recognize you. They remember you because you spent crores of rupees to have people like Ashu Reddy sing songs for you and make them dance for your campaigns.

You’ve stopped addressing the struggles of handloom workers and made Rakul Preet Singh do ramp walks as a brand ambassador, so they remember you, Kiran Kumar tweeted.

The Congress MP used the previous election campaign run by the BRS using several actors and social media influencers and also drew the infamous reference to Rakul Preet.

A few Congress supporters are saying that this is a necessitated reply to KTR for his provocation of Revanth. But others are saying that it is demoralising and unethical to bring up actresses names just to target KTR as this isn’t the way politics must be debated.
