76-Year-Old CBN at Yoga Day: What a Fitness & Flexibility!

To mark International Yoga Day today, the Government of Andhra Pradesh successfully organized the prestigious ‘Yogandhra’ event at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada. Renowned Yoga guru Baba Ramdev took part in the event.

The major highlight of the event was the participation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu who led from the front and inspired the participants with his active involvement. At 76 years of age, Naidu became the center of admiration as he demonstrated exceptional physical fitness, performing complex and challenging Yogasanas alongside Baba Ramdev.

Proving that age is just a number, he performed intense stretches, extreme postures, and Pranayama breathing techniques with absolute ease and flexibility.

It is a known fact that Chandrababu is a stickler to healthy lifestyle despite his busy political commitments and administrative commitments as the Chief Minister of state. This is why he never takes a day off and works tirelessly for nearly 18 hours a day without falling ill.

During various occasions, Naidu revealed about his simple eating habits and gave tips to the public to stay healthy. Today, he once again demonstrated why he is one of the fittest veteran political leaders across the country.

The mega Yoga event saw a massive turnout, with arrangements made across two locations for nearly 7,000 participants to practice together. Education Minister Nara Lokesh also actively took part in the session, practicing yoga postures along with other cabinet members and thousands of fitness enthusiasts
