Negative propaganda and abusive hate campaigns are increasingly dominating politics. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has now alleged that YCP is funding coordinated hate campaigns and negative social media propaganda to target political opponents. According to Naidu, the NDA government is determined to end this toxic political culture by taking strict legal action against those involved.
Recently, a couple of arrests made by Andhra Pradesh police have grabbed headlines because the opposition party is trying to project them in a negative manner. But, it is well established that the individuals involved are doing it with clear negative intention.
Now, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has launched a fiery attack on the opposition YSRCP for distributing heavy financial backing to targeted social media groups. Naidu alleged that digital teams are specifically paid by the Opposition to manufacture and spread a continuous stream of malicious propaganda.
He further noted that the primary objective of this coordinated online campaign is to constantly abuse both himself and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
Despite all these cheap tactics played by political opponents, Naidu firmly declared that the alliance government’s development agenda remains entirely unstoppable. Naidu reiterated that the government’s strong commitment to public welfare and infrastructure will easily outshine any artificial negativity.
When TDP was power during 2014 to 2019, a similar campaign was unleashed by YSR Congress party supporters. When the party was in power, the abusive campaign has reached a peak stage and both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan were attacked brutally on social media platforms.
It was later discovered how some loyal supporters got funding directly from the party to run malicious campaigns. Even now, the same tactics are being used. Both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan including their families are being targeted quite blatantly.
Babu emphasized that such desperate tactics reveal an underlying political reliance on abusive language, factionalism, and rowdyism. He once again termed YSRCP as Goddali ( Axe ) party, a symbolic satire which he has been often terming in recent times.
