A recent IVRS survey conducted by the AP government reportedly shows that CM Chandrababu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan continue to enjoy strong public support. The survey also collected feedback on IT Minister Nara Lokesh and the overall performance of the NDA government.
According to reports, nearly three lakh people from across the state participated in the survey. Apart from public opinion, feedback was also collected from party workers at different levels.
The survey suggests that around 92 percent of respondents expressed confidence in Chandrababu Naidu. Many appreciated his focus on attracting investments, developing Amaravati and creating employment opportunities. A large number of people reportedly said they see him as the right leader to guide the state.
Pawan Kalyan too received encouraging feedback. The survey reportedly found that nearly 90 percent of people appreciated the way he responds to public issues, while about 92 percent expressed satisfaction with his overall performance. Around 80 percent also supported his politics beyond caste and religion.
Nara Lokesh also received a positive response in the survey. Around 80 percent of respondents were said to be satisfied with his performance as a minister.
One of the key highlights of the survey is the response to the Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan partnership. Reports claim that nearly 95 percent of respondents viewed the alliance positively and felt the two leaders are working well together.
However, party sources say the survey was conducted mainly in urban and town areas. It is not yet clear whether similar feedback will emerge from rural regions. Even so, the findings are likely to boost the confidence of the ruling alliance ahead of future political challenges.
