District SP’s office issued orders transferring Y.V.V. Satyanarayana, the Sub-Inspector (SI) of Gudivada One-Town in Krishna district, to the Vacancy Reserve (VR).
SI Satyanarayana had served a notice to former Minister Kodali Nani denying permission for a rally organized by the YSR Congress in Gudivada town on the 10th of this month, which was intended to protest alleged irregularities in the DSC recruitment process.
Despite this, Kodali Nani defied the police orders and proceeded to the YCP camp.
Pro-YSR Congress Media and other media reported this news differently.
Eenadu published a news item saying that the SI was suspended because he appeared to be moving closely with the Former Minister.
YSR Congress and its social media teams have reported the same news, saying that the SI behaved rudely with Kodali Nani.
Incidentally, both sides have two different photographs from the incidents supporting their argument.
In Eenadu news item, the SI is seen talking to Kodali Nani with a smile and on YSR Congress X handle, there is a photo in which he is seen saying something seriously.
Who is correct in this matter?
It is unlikely that an SI will be punished for being rude with an Opposition MLA. YSR Congress may have got this wrong somehow.
There are severe allegations that despite losing power, many YSR Congress leaders are still exercising power over Government employees in their constituencies. We have seen such incidents repeatedly. Even TDP cadre claims that Chandrababu Naidu for some reason is not getting enough control of the Governance this time.
This is probably one such incident.
