Tamil Nadu chief minister, Joseph Vijay is being extensively targeted at a personal level by many of his political opponents in the state. The level of personal attack against him has been crossing the lines over the last few months.
Earlier, there were multiple remarks from DMK and BJP Senior leaders regarding Vijay and actress Trisha. It was extensively propagated that the two of them had an illicit relationship as Vijay was targeted at a personal level on multiple counts.
Now it is the turn of BJP Tamil Nadu president Nagendra to target Vijay at a personal level, and this is not going well with social media followers as well.
Nagendran compare the present political situation to the imagery in the poem he hear in childhood and questioned what such people(Vijay) could do for the country.
“Why are they going to the Assembly and asking, ‘Where is father? Where is father?’ If they go home and ask their mother, she will tell them who their father is. If they search for their father in the Assembly, who would know?” Nagendran said.
He further alleged that this reflected the manner in which the present government was functioning and criticised the administration led by Chief Minister Joseph Vijay.
This immediately resulted in TVK supporters filing a police complaint against Nagendran, saying that he abused chief minister Vijay and his mother.
It is evident that Vijay is being targeted relentlessly by his opponents, including former deputy CM Uday Stalin, and several BJP leaders as well. But Vijay has not publicly reacted to any of this till now, as he is maintaining his solid composure regardless of the adversities.
