Tamil Nadu politics are extremely dynamic in nature, and this is again on display as chief minister Vijay has effectively communicated that all the MLAs in the state would be getting a new car.
This decision was taken by Vijay due to the recent developments, where several first time MLAs are unable to reach places of work and the assembly as they don’t have access to cars and private transport.
This decision has gone both ways with a few people supporting the same by saying it is important for representatives to maintain time through private transportation. But at the same time, there is also a parallel argument that Vijay must have been more cautious about the state finances while announcing cars to all the MLAs.
Now this big decision from the chief minister has invited an interest reaction from a female MLA in the Tamil Nadu Assembly today.
Incidentally, TVK MLA Sindhu sang MGR’s ‘Kodutthathellam Kodutthan’ song in the assembly, thanking CM Vijay for making various announcements, including higher milk procurement price, vehicles for all MLAs.
Generally, the Assembly is known for some of the most intense verbal exchanges and heated atmosphere. But for a change, the Tamil Nadu Assembly witnessed a female MLA singing a song in the house today which was a peculiar visual.
Following this, Minister Aadhav Arjuna reportedly advised the MLAs not to go overboard with praising CM Vijay. He is said to have cautioned them against excessive flattery, suggesting that such gestures may not go down well with the Chief Minister. The remark has now become a talking point within political circles.
