Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy is one of the most interesting politicians in India, and he keeps this on brilliant display every now and again. He is back on the job again as he took part in a national conclave and delivered a series of highly interesting comments.
Revanth Reddy made a series of comments regarding the contrast between North India and the Southern part of the country as he described them as to completely different entities.
Revanth Reddy pointed out that Southern India is more of Dravidian culture while the northern part of the country is more of Aryan culture. He went to bring a religious and spiritual angle while comparing the contrast between north and South India.
The Chief minister pointed out that the Northern part of the country is more of Lord Shriram aspirants as they have a strong Jai Shriram vibe associated with them. But on the contrary, the Southern part of the country is more of Lord Shiva oriented spiritual system.
Those BJP oriented people frequently say Jai Shri Ram while we South Indian say Hara Hara Mahadev. You don’t see BJP folk saying Hara Hara Mahadev as frequently as we South Indians do.
This was followed by another interesting observation from the Telangana chief minister, as he said Prabhu Sriram is a God for the rich and wealthy while Lord Shiva is the God of poor. He compare this ology to the financial difference in north India and South India, perhaps.
