Buying a new Android phone could soon become more expensive. Qualcomm has reportedly informed customers that it will raise chip prices by a double digit percentage for shipments after September 1, citing rising supplier costs and ongoing component shortages. The increase could push up prices of smartphones and AI powered Windows laptops.
