Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Bangar’s child, Anaya Bangar, who recently transitioned her gender, revealed that she faced a lot of harassment after turning into a female.
Speaking in a recent interview with the Lallantop, Anaya also revealed that various cricketers sent her nude pictures in her social media DMs. She said that she received support as well as a lot of harassment after undergoing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to transition into a female.
“There has been support, but there has also been harassment… Some cricketers sent me nude pictures randomly,” she said in the interview.
Anaya was born as Aryan. She gained public attention after she shared her story regarding hormonal therapy and spoke about making cricket more welcoming for everyone.
Sharing bizarre experiences she faced, Anaya revealed that one person insulted her infront of everyone and the same guy used to come close to her and ask her for her pictures later.
She also revealed that when she spoke about her issues with an older cricketer, he picked her up in her car and asked her to sleep with him.
