The deadly pathogen Corona virus is fast spreading and even noted
personalities are getting infected by this virus. Tom Hanks, wife of
Canadian Prime Minister are tested positive of the virus and now joining
them is Australian cricketer Kane Richardson.
This fast bowler
reported sore throat and alerted by this, Cricket Australia has excluded
him from the ongoing bilateral series between Australia and New
Zealand. Richardson’s samples have been collected and medical team is
waiting for final results. In this meantime, he was separated from the
squad and moved into an isolation ward.
Richardson is likely to
stay under the medical team scanner for the next few days and until he
recovers, he may not join the Australian squad, said a board official.
Meanwhile
the first ODI between Australia and New Zealand is being held in closed
doors. Spectators are barred from entering the stadium.
