Corona India: Nearly 10K Cases In Last 24 Hrs

For the second consecutive day, India has reported over nine thousand cases. In the last 24 hours, 9851 cases have been filed which means only 150 odd less than the 10,000 mark. This is the biggest cases reported so far and looking at the surge, the number could be a lot higher.

273 people of have died and the total people died of the virus is 6348. The total number of cases are 2,26,770 while active cases are 1,10,960 and 1,09,462 have got discharged, said the Union Health Ministry in its daily bulletin.

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has added that they have tested 1,43,661 samples in the last 24 hours while total samples so far tested are 43,86,376. India’s recovery rate of the virus is 48.27 percent.

As on June 3rd, the state of Telangana has tested only 0.98 per thousand population while the State’s positivity rate of the Corona virus is 8.42 percent. The total cases reported from the state are 3147 while in Andhra Pradesh, the cases are 4223.
