India crosses 40K cases; 21 new in TG and 58 in AP

With 40,263 coronavirus positive cases in India overall, the number sounds depressingly unbelievable. The numbers are increasing constantly with thousands of new cases appearing every single day without a break. Maharastra, leading in number, has already crossed 12k plus cases and next comes Gujarat with 5500, and Delhi with 4170.

But some cities like Delhi are read to lift the lockdown in spite of the increase in the death toll. The overall death toll has risen to 1308 in India with 83 deaths coming in just 24 hours. Among 83 casualties, 36 were from Maharashtra, 26 from Gujarat, 11 from Madhya Pradesh, three each from Rajasthan and Delhi, two from Telangana and one each from Tamil Nadu and Bihar.

Andhra Pradesh is witnessing no control at all in the reduction of cases and today itself, the state had reported 58 new cases, taking the total tally to 1583. Yesterday also, AP reported another 60 new cases. The highest came from Kurnool today with 33 and Guntur with 11. However, no deaths have been reported today.

In Telangana, the number is fluctuating rapidly, leaving perplexed whether the condition is conciliating or not. Two days ago, only two cases reported. But yesterday we had 17 new cases and today, another 21 new cases have been reported. The active coronavirus cases in Telangana is 508 as of today. With 28 deaths and 458 recovered, the state has decided to operate breweries shops from May 4.

Moreover, central teams are set to deploy to those districts with the highest number of COVID-19 cases like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Pune, Jaipur, Thane, Surat, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Agra, Kolkata, Kurnool, Vadodara, Guntur, Krishna, and Lucknow.
