Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has announced an important change in the Srivani darshan ticket system to improve devotee convenience and streamline administration. From January 9, Srivani darshan tickets that were earlier issued through offline counters at Tirumala will now be made available through online current booking.
As part of this new system, 800 Srivani darshan tickets that were previously issued offline every day will be shifted to daily online current booking. These tickets will be released online every day at 9 am and will remain available until 2 pm. Devotees who successfully book the tickets must report for darshan on the same day at 4 pm.
Under the new rules, only one family consisting of up to four members can book tickets at a time. Aadhaar verification and a valid mobile number are mandatory to prevent misuse. Tickets will be allotted on a first come first served basis. This move is expected to eliminate long waiting hours for devotees who earlier had to stand in queues for offline Srivani tickets at Tirumala.
The new online current booking system will be implemented on a trial basis for one month. Based on the feedback and response, TTD will take a final decision after reviewing the system.
Meanwhile, TTD will continue issuing 500 Srivani darshan tickets per day through the existing online advance booking system. This process has already been in place and will remain unchanged. A detailed review of this system will be conducted after three months.
In addition, the offline issuance of 200 Srivani darshan tickets every day at Tirupati Airport will continue as usual.
TTD has requested devotees to take note of these changes and plan their darshan accordingly, keeping the new booking system in mind.
