The Indian educational authorities are used to recover from the recent NEET question paper leakage. There was a nationwide outbreak on this matter as parents and students protested the inability of the authorities to hold such as standardised examination.

Earlier, the NEET question paper leak triggered nationwide outrage, and this was followed by the CBSE examination controversy. With protests already raging over these issues, another shocking development has now emerged.

The national testing agency has communicated that the Common University Entrance Test that was held today, has also faced a massive technical glitch.

Earlier today, some centres faced a technical glitch that delayed the start of Shift 1. Subsequently, several students were unable to take part in the examination as years of their preparation has gone in vein.

The technical service provider, TCS iON, has been asked to conduct a root-cause analysis and submit its report immediately. Most candidates were able to complete their exam once it resumed but 3,765 candidates who were present and had completed biometric registration chose to leave before the exam could restart.

For these candidates, NTA will hold a rescheduled examination as a one-time measure. This was confirmed by the agency itself a short while back.

These consecutive failures in holding even standard examinations is adding a lot of pressure on the Indian educational system and Prime Minister Modi is also facing significant backlash for the same.
