Hyderabad Crime: Morning Police Complaint, Evening Double Murder

Police have solved the shocking double murder case reported in the Meerpet area of Hyderabad. The police arrested the main accused Mohammed Siddiqui in connection with the incident. They also seized a knife, a Wagon R car and a mobile phone from him.

According to the police, the incident took place on November 4. Siddiqui allegedly attacked his mother-in-law Niranjan B and his brother-in-law Mohammed Yousuf and also his brother-in-law’s wife Mohammed Reshma with a knife.

In this brutal attack, his mother-in-law and brother-in-law died on the spot due to severe injuries. Reshma aged 39 was seriously injured and was immediately shifted to a hospital. She is currently undergoing treatment.

Police investigation revealed that family disputes were the main reason behind the attack. Siddiqui and his wife Noor Begum who belong to Sharifnagar had been having frequent arguments for the past few days. Unable to bear the regular fights, Noor Begum went to her parents’ house on November 4.

She also approached the police on the same morning and complained that her husband was threatening her and that her family members were facing a threat to their lives. But Siddiqui allegedly reached his in-laws’ house in the evening and attacked the family members with a knife. Police said that he planned to kill three people because he was angry over being insulted in front of elders.

Following the incident, Meerpet police launched an investigation and arrested Siddiqui.
