For the third time, India has reported over 3000 Corona positive cases in a single day. In the last 24 hours, 3,390 new cases have been confirmed and 103 deaths have occurred.
The active cases count stands at 37,916 and 16,539 people have recovered from the virus. The total death tally is 1886.
Maharashtra is the worst affected state with 17,974 cases and 694 which is the highest in the country. Gujarat is the next state with 7,012 cases and 425 deaths. India’s capital, New Delhi is the third most severely affected state with 5,980 cases and 66 deaths.
Andhra Pradesh has 1833 cases and 38 deaths while Telangana has 1122 cases with 29 deaths.
