#LockdownStories: Man Bowing Down To A Local Train Goes Viral

After a long predicament of series of corona lockdown, here we are with the world outside our house getting back to normal. It was told that the more we stay at home, the more the situation will get back to normalcy. And it is the very reason why all of us have missed our workplace, our vacations, travelling and hanging out with family and friends.

Though we still have new cases coming sporadically, people can heave a sigh of relief that vaccines shall arrive sooner or later. Amid careful living, the internet is now silently crying with an emotional yet delightful picture where a passenger is seen bowed down at a metro station, worshipping a Mumbai local train before boarding it. While the image went viral, the chairman of Mahindra group, Anand Mahindra, known for his charismatic persona, also retweeted the picture with a caption “The soul of India, I pray we never lose it”.

The passenger who travelled after eleven months is captured in an emotional moment. The local train services in Mumbai have commenced on February 1 and this picture garnered more than 26,000 likes and around 3,000 retweets. Netizens reacted to the post saying, “This is what Indian culture is. Indian culture shows gratitude for each and every particle of this universe”. Another user wrote, “Only a genuine Mumbaikar will know the sentiments attached to this”. One more comment read, “Very touching but often we don’t understand the value of anything we have it, be it people or service.”
