‘Every Star Kid Is Called Druggie But My kids Are Not’

Star kids are often labelled as drug addicts, spendthrifts, spoilt brats and whatnot. They got to hear all the unpleasant judgments like overindulging in extravagant possessions with their famous parents not sparing any expenses. Actor Suniel Shetty, in his latest interview, said that he is worried about his children’s identity in society. He said that his offsprings Athiya and Ahan are beautiful and good kids but it concerns about having linear-perspective of them in the society.

“I do not worry about my kids and their lifestyle. I am worried about my kids in the industry in general. Because every industry kid is called druggie. But, we are not. We have good people here too. We are socially placed and we do our CSR and I am very vocal about it. What I support is a clean, good, friendly environment,” Suniel said.

“In spite of a few downs in life, debacles have never hit me. I am Suniel Shetty even after five flops. You cannot tell me how to walk and talk. You can call em a flop actor’ but where are you in life? Who are you to question? These are the questions I would ask if you get personal. Otherwise, let’s live and let live. So, no judgement,” stated the actor.

Celebrity kids definitely face some challenges when it comes to growing up with popularity. They also lose normal degrees of privacy and anonymity. But, Suniel Shetty’s concern of calling every star kid a spoiled rotten is anxiety in every celebrity parent today. Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya is already three films old in B-town and his son, Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty is all set to make a debut in the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster “RX 100”.

The senior actor said that even his son’s debut might affect him. “My son is so damn good that even if he does some good acting, people will comment, ‘Father was average but the son is superb.’ He is far more sincere. He has a golden heart,” claims the actor.
