US: Trump To Cut 80,000 Jobs From Veterans Affairs Department

Donald Trump administration is on job-cutting spree under the Department of Government efficiency’s (DOGE) initiative led bt Elon Musk.

In the latest update, the Trump administration is planning to cut more than 80,000 jobs from the Department of Veterans Affairs in a record. The department provides health care for retired military members.

The Veterans Affairs chief of staff reportedly told the aim to cut enough employees to return to 2019 staffing levels of just under 400,000.

Veterans have already been speaking against the cuts at the VA that so far removed a few thousand employees and hundreds of contracts, More than 25 percent of Vthe A’s workforce is comprised of veterans.
