Cliffhanger Ending For Baahubali Crown Of Blood: Rajamouli

Disney+ Hotstar unveiled the world of their upcoming animated series – Baahubali: Crown of Blood with the team gracing the occasion. The upcoming animated series takes you back in time on an epic journey of the clash of the empires where Baahubali and Bhallaladeva join hands to protect the great kingdom of Mahishmati and the throne against their greatest threat.

Rajamouli says there was a It’s a lot of thought process that went behind in creating the Crown Of Blood. “Initially, when we started building the world of Baahubali for the films, we started writing pre-stories, post-stories, the character arcs from beginning to the end. We realized there is so much more to be given to the audience, in terms of the characters and stories. In the West, there is a standard, if a brand is created, it immediately goes into multiple media. It automatically happens, because it’s quite established. But in India, we don’t have that.”

The ace filmmaker affirms it was a tough decision for him to break himself from Baahubali world. “Initially, I thought I wouldn’t let him do anything without my concern. Then, I gradually realized, I had to let go. But before letting go, I took them through the process of how we made Baahubali. What are the characters? What are the conflicts? I tried to explain to them the soul of Baahubali. He understood my love for the Baahubali characters and the story. He grasped it. He and his team worked beautifully to create the characters, creating the story arc, and character arc. They came up with Crown Of Blood. I’m so happy the way it turned out.”

Rajamouli says that bringing Baahubali and Kattappa together is a brilliant idea. “I hope, we will get much more cliffhanger ending at the season episode 9.”

Produced by Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks Production Pvt Ltd and the visionary filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, Sharad Devarajan & Shobu Yarlagadda, directed and produced by Jeevan J. Kang & Navin John the series is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar starting 17th May, 2024 onwards.
