Big Fight in Tollywood draws Attention
Film Industry is one place where we could witness both entertaiment and politics. The upcoming Film Chamber elections has intensified the tug of war between two strong Groups - One led by veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao and the other by senior producer D Suresh Babu.
Dasari took up the mission to fight against the theater monopoly in state. He fielded his close aide Thammareddy Bharadwaj in the contest for the prestigious Film Chamber president post. On the other hand, Suresh Babu brought producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore into picture to retain his foothold.
Both the camps have been working with the only goal of winning the elections. While Dasari is playing the monopoly card by accusing 'Aa Naluguru' of harassing small producers by not allotting theaters for their films, Suresh Babu hosted a party for film fraternity recently to lure the members. Will there be a neck-to-neck fight or a one-sided result in poll which is scheduled to take place on July 29 is the hot topic in film circles at present.
