Media Protecting People From Dying

September 20th, 2012, 01:52 PM IST

Lately, a lot of criticism has been surrounding the Indian media about how they make a sensation even out of a small incident just for TRPs. But media is not just about business. They have enough sensibilities to understand which sort of news can be exaggerated and which should be kept in control.

Right now, they are doing a good job of saving people from dying. Apparently, one anti-Islam film has become a hot topic of discussion among many and this has already led to global arson and killings. But the Indian media is putting it in sidelines and not projecting it like a major controversy.

This seriously deserves a hats off for the media. Because, the unwanted stuff if they project then it would have led to nothing but religious riots. Due to this strong check, the talk about the film has been restricted to the web media and mostly educated people are talking about it. But the paper and TV folks are being very careful about it.
