These are the days where trailers of movies should speak volumes about the movie. Then only audiences are getting interested in the projects. Recently we have seen how trailers of films like Shakuntala Devi, Raat Akeli Hai and Lootcase have impressed many though such stories are known. Because their presentation is terrific we must say.
After teasing audiences from a long time with the spicy pictures of heroine Simrat Kaur, finally former producer MS Raju came up with the teaser of “Dirty Hari”. Due to the hot presence of Simrat Kaur, a section of audiences might have liked the teaser pretty much, but then, those regular OTT viewers are not finding it fresh.
In the recent times, films with adult content are running well on OTT, but only if they showcase some fresh perspective. On Netflix we have seen the likes of 365 Days and Dark Desire, which worked, but then Swara Bhaskar’s Rashbari, another adult series, has flopped big time as the content is tried and tested.
Going by Dirty Hari trailer, one could say that there is no fresh element other than the glamour treat of heroine we’re seeing in many films. Perhaps that is the reason movies like Edu Chepala Katha and RGV’s Naked didn’t even entice anyone. Also, the man behind movies like Varsham, Manasantha Nuvve and Okkadu churning out these spineless movies is a kind of a shocker.
