No Excuse For Jagan On 25th May
There is no question of Jagan escaping the questioning of CBI sleuths on 25th May. When the young leader is feeling happy for HC's verdict about defreeze accounts, Court has given punch with this ruling.
Responding to the lunch motion petition filed by Jagan's lawyers, High Court has ordered the CBI to act according to CRPC section 41A in Jagan's case. Earlier, Jagan's lawyers have filed a petition citing their client's inability to attend before CBI on 25th May as ordered by the investigation agency. They have argued in Court that Jagan will be arrested on 25th May if at all he attends before CBI that day.
However, Court has found fault with the argument of Jagan's lawyer and ordered CBI to use 41A, with which the agency can put Jagan behind bars without any intimation or warrant during the time of his questioning. Actually Jagan is supposed to attend Court on 28th May as per the summons issued to him, but CBI wants to question him much before.
