The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan has this infamous reputation of being an aggressive and volatile politician. But he got largely streamlined after the 2019 election which he won big time, and eventually became soft with time.
But after the completion of the 2024 election, where YCP was badly humiliated, Jagan had been bringing back the fierce side in him. The “Rappa Rappa” comments followed by “cinema Choopistha” were all indicating that he would be ringing back his old self in 2029.
And now Jagan has made another set of fierce comments while interacting with the Pulivendula public regarding the upcoming local body election.
“My sleeves are already rolled up, and I am ready to face anything. If they want to create a problem or a violent situation, then they can readily come, I’m waiting here. I am ready to face whatever may come. I will be casting my vote in Pulivendula, and anyone can try to create a situation against me.” Jagan said today.
This is obviously a big attempt from Jagan to replenish the lost morale of YCP leaders locally and a reassurance that he’d stand by them. But the crucial challenge here is going to be to actually walk the talk as Jagan had been frequently flying to Bengaluru on the weekendss despite making these tall comments often.
