Tamil actor Simbu is in Hyderabad to promote his upcoming film ‘The Loop’ (Maanaadu in Tamil) which is hitting theatres on 25th November. During the promotion spree, the media questioned Simbu on his marriage for which his fans have been waiting with bated breath.
And the Manmadhudu actor laughed and said, “Show me a nice girl sir.”
Simbu said he is quite excited about his comeback and the interesting line-up of films he has in store. He said with all confidence that he won’t disappoint his fans who have supported him in his tough times and stood by him throughout irrespective of his successes or failures.
Giving a peep into the film ‘The Loop’, Simbu said it is a political action thriller which has a time loop. He said it was quite difficult to shoot the film and involved great work from the whole team. He is quite confident about the film’s reception in Telugu too. He also added that he is open to do a straight Telugu movie and he said he is looking for some exciting script in Telugu. He said his upcoming films would also be dubbed/simultaneously made in Telugu.
Simbu aka STR said he is coming up with a funny film ‘Corona Kumar’ a fiction movie which is about the first Covid-19 patient Kumar (played by Simbu) in Tamil Nadu who roams carelessly unknowingly and the movie is shown in a light-hearted way. Simbu shares that his next ‘Pathu Thala’ is also shaping up well for which AR Rahman is composing the music. He said he is once again teaming up with Gautham Vasudev Menon (‘Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu’) and it will be a Telugu-Tamil bilingual.
