Megastar Chiranjeevi’s highly anticipated entertainer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is gearing up to become the biggest festive attraction as it arrives in theatres on January 12, 2026. The official confirmation from the makers has firmly set the stage for a grand Sankranthi celebration at the box office.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is done with its shoot. It is strategically slated for a pre-festival Monday release, allowing it to fully capitalize on the extended Sankranthi holiday window. This timing appears to be an ideal and well-calculated festive strike, especially considering that Sankranthi has historically been a highly profitable season for both the star and the director. The release date poster presents Chiranjeevi in an elegant avatar, as he enjoys his tea, while sitting on an expensive car.
Over his illustrious career, Chiranjeevi has delivered numerous blockbusters during the Sankranthi season, while Anil Ravipudi scored the biggest hit of his career with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which also released during the festival. Naturally, expectations are soaring for this much-hyped combination.
Adding to the excitement, Victory Venkatesh will be seen in an extended cameo, bringing additional star power and elevating the film’s buzz. The pre-release momentum is already impressive, with songs topping the charts and promotional content receiving a strong response.
Produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments banners, the makers are expected to intensify promotional activities in the coming days as the festive release approaches.
