The political heat is turning up in Andhra Pradesh. Even as the general election is two years away from now, swift political developments in the state are raising a lot of curiosity. The latest is that veteran actor and politician Mohan Babu has met former CM Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad.
The meeting is said to have lasted for two hours involving important topics. It is reliably learnt that the duo also discussed the prevailing political conditions in Andhra Pradesh state. The purpose of meeting and meeting minutes are yet to be known.
This meeting of Mohan Babu and Chandrababu became hot topic in political circles since Mohan Babu is a close relative of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. Mohan Babu’s elder son Vishnu Manchu is married to Jagan’s cousin Viranica. This is not all.
Mohan Babu is a member of YSRCP the party which he joined in March 2019 ahead of the April 2019 general election. During this, Mohan Babu had criticized Chandrababu. So, the present meeting between the duo is certainly generating a lot of curiosity.
It can be noted that Mohan Babu was loyal to NTR, founder of TDP. Both Mohan Babu and Chandrababu had worked in the past under NTR’s leadership. Mohan Babu had served as TDP’s Rajya Sabha MP too back then. However, he had distanced from Chandrababu and TDP after NTR.
According to sources, Mohan Babu will again meet Chandrababu a week later. More deets are awaited.
