Peddi Trailer & Dragon Glimpse: Tasty Treats, Full Meals Missed!

During this dry season at theatres in Tollywood, the fans thought that the trailer of Peddi and a glimpse of Dragon would be a huge respite. However, as per the posts on social media, the opinions are diverse, indicating that both the videos failed to satisfy the hunger of the fans to the core.

Buchi Babu Sana’s second attempt at direction is Peddi, starring Ram Charan, and from the beginning, the film is somehow projected as a mass action drama like any other Tollywood commercial film.

The fans also genuinely expected mass moments going by the songs and the initial teaser. But the trailer is presented in a different tone, drifting away from the expectations.

Although more promotional content from Peddi is on its way and that could answer the expectations but the trailer is an overall summary of what the film would resonate. Hence, the trailer had expectations from fans.

When it comes to Dragon, starring NTR in the lead role in his debut collaboration with Prashanth Neel, the lengthy glimpse clearly establishes the film’s world with the director-mark sequences and making.

However, the actor’s fans could not estimate the depth at which the intensity could be explored on the screen. The scale and span of the film are visible, but the action and elevation that the fans expected went clearly missing.

In reality, team Peddi is planning A. R. Rahman’s music concert in Bhopal, including the release of an item song and another event at Uppal Stadium, possibly along with the release trailer later. Expectations may change as these events unfold, but the initial setback is clearly visible.

Moreover, Dragon has a big challenge. As there is one year left, it’s interesting to see how Neel maintains the hype going forward. The only good thing is that since the film is not releasing immediately, the team has all the time to work on the feedback before meeting the fans again with aggressive promotional campaigns.

Having said that, both the glimpses did some hungama on social media but all that matters is the real hungama that happens in theatres. Peddi is hitting the screens on June 4th while Dragon will release next year on June 11.
