Vijay’s Victory Pushed Pawan Kalyan To Act Quick!

Thalapathy Vijay becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu seems to have put pressure on Pawan Kalyan.

People were comparing both of them and were calling out Pawan Kalyan for not becoming the Chief Minister when Vijay became one in his first election itself.

A few days ago, Pawan Kalyan first responded on Vijay’s victory saying that the conditions in Andhra Pradesh are starkly contrasting and rubbished such comparisions.

But in the Rajahmundry meeting the other day, Pawan Kalyan made a comment that indicates he is also slightly disturbed.

“In Tamil politics, They won so comfortably that it even makes me feel jealous. He became Chief Minister with cutouts and holograms everywhere. Even after travelling for 15 years, I did not get to see such a victory,” Pawan Kalyan said revealing the pain inside him.

There is a visible change in Pawan Kalyan in recent times.

In his address to the party leaders, he is talking about how to strengthen the party irrespective of the alliance, how many leaders have become silent after getting positions in the Government, etc.

He is also showing the seriousness in action. He took a serious view of the internal rifts and controversies that had surfaced within the Janasena party in Prakasam district.

Consequently, he decided to undertake a comprehensive overhaul of the entire party organization. As part of this initiative, the Janasena committee for the undivided Prakasam district presided over by ODA Chairman Riyaz was dissolved.

Going a step further, he also relieved the party in-charges for the various assembly constituencies within the district, along with other individuals holding party positions, of their duties.

Pawan has entrusted the responsibilities of party delimitation for the Rayalaseema, Prakasam, and Nellore districts to former Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, who recently joined Janasena.

It sends a signal that Pawan Kalyan has taken the party seriously in Rayalaseema where it is presently the weakest.

Probably, Vijay’s Victory and the criticism that came there after pushed Pawan Kalyan in a positive direction to focus on strengthening the party from grassroots, something which he has ignored for a long time.
