Will Charan’s Last-Ball Sixer Push Peddi to the Next Level?

Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana teamed up for the first time for the prestigious film titled Peddi. The film gears up for a grand release on the 4th of this month, and the team held a pre-release event today in Vijayawada.

During his speech, Charan expressed complete confidence that the film would perform well at the box office. While some felt the film was not generating the desired buzz, he changed the narrative entirely with his speech. There has long been a perception that Charan carries a bit of stage fear, but with his confident and powerful address today, he seemed to put that notion to rest.

Ram Charan remained on the stage with full emotion and enthusiasm to share a lot of things about his film and the team behind it. Although he fumbled at times as the emotion overtook him, Charan clearly stated that Peddi is a film that comes once in a decade, echoing the statement of Megastar Chiranjeevi who expressed a similar feeling earlier.

Ram Charan also said that Peddi is a film that demands enormous hard work for him, and he does not mind putting his everything for a film like this. Charan had no qualms in saying that he can go to any extent for a film like Peddi and heaped praises over director Buchi Babu Sana, hoping that he will soon enter the list of top three directors in the film industry.

Ram Charan also talked about the vibe of the film, while working for it. He said that he can clearly pass time home instead of doing films but the hunger to entertain the fans, make them feel proud and deliver good cinema is always keeping him on his toes and he did achieve it with Peddi. He also told that he felt like this in the past for Magadheera, RRR and Rangasthalam.

Coming to the bookings, AP ticket sales opened this afternoon on a strong note. The event and the Massa Massa video song could provide a significant boost to both domestic and overseas bookings, which is exactly what the film needs at this stage.

Having said that, Charan expressed his clear confidence that Peddi is one film that will not disappoint the audiences and the promotional content released so far stand as solid evidence. In almost 48 hours, the film will be out as the premieres will happen. If the film becomes a hit, Peddi will revive the theatrical business once again.
