Since today evening, news portals are abuzz with the news that popular actor Rajesh Sharma has been hospitalized in West Bengal after suffering a severe infection in his right leg.
Reports suggest that the health crisis is believed to have been triggered by a suspected insect or poisonous spider bite that occurred at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on the set of an upcoming film Fauzi, which stars pan-India superstar Prabhas.
The family of the actor claimed that he felt a sharp bite after a day of filming in RFC while talking with local technicians on sets in an area surrounded by dense vegetation. Though he didn’t felt any discomfort immediately, his health deteriorated and was admitted to hospital immediately.
But, the team of Fauzi has shared a contradictory version when contacted by Gulte to verify this viral news. The team expressed total confusion and lack of awareness regarding the incident as Rajesh Sharma had actually wrapped up all of his scheduled portions a full week prior to these reports and had already returned home.
The team emphasized that they had received no initial information or formal communication regarding any injury or medical incident occurring on the sets. When they tried to contact the family members of the actor, there is no proper response so far.
Meanwhile, conflicting reports started emerging as an assistant of the actor claimed that the ongoing news on social media platforms is fake. He posted a video saying that actor has been admitted into hospital due to diabetes and will be discharged tomorrow.
Fauzi has Hanu Raghavapudi at the helm. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the project on a grand scale.
