Monday Stories: New Releases Disappoint, Old Releases Still Steady!

In this edition of Monday Stories:

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has collected 270 Crore Gross and will cross the 300 Crore Gross mark, which is the current industry-hit collection for a Malayalam film. The movie’s Telugu Version has collected around 1.97 Crore Gross in both the Telugu States in the first weekend. 

Mythri released the film, bearing the Prints and Publicity expenses of close to 80 Lakhs. 

Toxic ends its run at 325 Crore Gross Worldwide, with more than half of that coming from Hindi. The movie should collect around 800-850 Crore Gross for breakeven. In Telugu, it ended up at around 40 Crore Gross from AP and TS, whereas it should collect 150-160 Crore Gross for breakeven (75 Crore Refundable Advance).

Irumudi has collected 217 Crore Gross, with Share being 114 Crore Worldwide. In Nizam, the movie collected 53.7 Crore Share (including GST) and may touch 60 Crore in its full run.

Hanuman Ansh breached the 150 Crore Gross and may even cross the 300 Crore Gross in its full run. On its first day, the movie started with 13 Lakhs Gross, and on its 31st day yesterday, it has collected around 28 Crore, which is more than Dhurandhar, Stree 2, and Chavva. 

Ramba Oorvashi Menaka has to collect 10 Crore Gross Worldwide to break even, while it has collected around 4 Crore Gross in its first weekend.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Romanchakam was in table profit through its OTT and Music rights sale itself. They released the movie on their own through Asian Suniel. The movie has collected around 9 Crore Gross so far.

Dulquer Salmaan’s Im Game was distributed by Annapurna for an 8 Crore Refundable Advance. The movie has collected around 4 Crore Gross in both the Telugu States. 

Sahaa, a small film has collected around 10-12 Lakhs Share in its first weekend from its limited release and that will barely recover the Prints and Publicity Expenses.
